Infrared Camera Testing (Thermography)
Infrared imaging is a method of producing images of an environment based on the amount of infrared radiation that is emitted by objects in that environment.
Since all living things emit different levels of infrared radiation depending on their temperature (i.e. the higher the temperature, the higher the levels of radiation emitted by the object), infrared imaging is a great tool for accessing and monitoring otherwise inaccessible or hard to reach spaces. For this reason, infrared imaging has a wide range of applications and has been used extensively for both military and non-military purposes.
At MoldBusters, we use thermographic cameras to produce infrared images that help us detect mold without knocking down walls or destroying your home’s aesthetic appeal. Minimize discomfort, stress and unnecessary expenses by asking for our infrared services.

Take a look at some of the sample infrared images. The idea is simple. Materials that retain moisture are cooler than things that are dry. When we scan your house or office building we can see instantly where the water traveled or came in from.

These pictures taken by an infrared camera show missing insulating in a ceiling. Even the smallest gaps in the thermal boundary will allow cold/warm air to leak into the conditioned space.

These infrared pictures show how cold/warm air leaks into your home under your baseboards. Uninsulated band joists between the floors of your home are the reason why air is leaking in.
